I'm a Senior Analytics Engineer at Hiive — a Vancouver 🇨🇦 fintech running a private securities marketplace for pre-IPO shares. My job is turning messy transaction data into numbers people can actually trust: dbt models, data pipelines, and strong opinions about naming conventions.

Outside of work, I teach. I write about analytics engineering on LinkedIn to 14,000+ data professionals — covering dbt, SQL, data modeling, and career advice. I also wrote a book and build courses for people who want to get better at this craft, not just feel smart about it.
